Network Engineer
he Network Engineer is responsible for designing technical solutions for complex problems. The candidate will provide technical oversight of a project solution, including requirement interpretation and allocation of requirements to technical components. The candidate will define processes to support the
implementation of requirements. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that technical solutions leverage industry best practices, designing for security and excellence while minimizing the total cost of ownership. Candidate should be able to define internal and external customer IT infrastructure architecture needs and then design solutions to meet those needs to include: capacity planning, systems configuration and tuning, monitoring backups, and installations of hardware and software. Candidate will be required to work independently with little supervision and should be flexible to work and support
IT Operations needs as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices
- Thorough understanding of network routing concepts (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IP MPLS)
- 5+ years of experience configuring/maintaining Cisco ASA/Next Generation Firewall
- Experience configuring/maintaining non-Cisco hardware firewall devices (port and/or application based)
- Basic understanding of QoS concepts
- Experience with network monitoring technologies
- Ability to take ambiguous requirements or problems and convert them into technical solutions
- Ability to partner with systems administrators, storage administrators, and application developers to solve complex problems
- Complex problem management research and issue resolution
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting IP multicast streams
- Experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting QoS in LAN or WAN devices
- Juniper, Palo Alto, or Cisco Next Generation Firewalls Certifications
- Ability to mentor junior network engineers
Systems Administrator (Linux)
The Systems Administrator position will apply expertise in the installation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of both Windows- and Linux-based architectures. The systems administrator will focus on improving the stability and performance of the platform, maintaining and improving the security
posture of the domain, continuous monitoring of system health, and troubleshooting issues that arise. This individual is accountable for Windows, Linux, and application systems that support the infrastructure. Responsibilities on these systems include SA engineering, operations and maintenance, and research and development to ensure continual operation. The individual must be proficient in building, documenting, and providing tier 3 engineering support.
The position requires deep technical knowledge of systems, networks, and application security as well as a solid understanding of enterprise-level security frameworks, policies, processes, and standards. The candidate must have strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex issues, attention to detail, and
the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include maintaining operating systems, application support, integration, design, and assistance with additional duties as needed to support the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide daily operational support for Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications
- Support a virtual infrastructure of 700 servers running CentOS in a dev, test, and production configuration, and support an infrastructure of 60 different applications comprising of end user applications, developer tools and infrastructure support applications.
- Maintain the current virtual machine infrastructure, provide support to the remote users, and complete tasking to create new VM’s
- Upgrade the VMWARE infrastructure
- Maintain the integrity and security of systems by monitoring security feeds and dashboards in support of Continuous Monitoring activities
- Develop and maintain standards and procedures for applications across a complex computing infrastructure
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Monitor application and operating system performance and analyze and document problems
- Develop and oversee implementation of testing strategies and document the results
- Leverage scripting and system automation tools
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies
- Research and recommend hardware and software, coordinate installation, and provide backup recovery
- Interact with users and evaluate vendor products
- Review problems to understand root causes of issues and ensure implementation of proper fixes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Linux System Administrator
- Extensive experience with Redhat and/or Centos
- Extensive experience with Redhat and/or Centos• Demonstrated experience with VMWare ESXi infrastructure 6.x + vCenter server, host clustering• with HA, DRS, replication
- Demonstrated experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and basic Linux skills for latest versions of CentOS
- Upgrading VMWare infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience with VMWare Tanzu
- Demonstrated experience in server builds using automated mechanism
- Demonstrated experience with Ansible playbooks for virtual and physical instance provisioning, configuration management and patching and software development

- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Window Server versions 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019
- Demonstrated experience with SCCM, WDS, MS SQL server, Exchange, Powershell, batch scripting
- Demonstrated experience with SCOM and MIM
- Demonstrated experience working with syslog applications such as Splunk
- ITIL Foundations Certification a plus

Software Developer
The Software Engineer will design, develop, code, test, and debug complex software products, or make significant enhancements to existing software. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with significant experience in developing scalable data platforms, with experience in business intelligence, analytics, and data science and data products. They must have strong, firsthand technical expertise in a variety of configuration management and big data technologies and the proven ability to fashion robust scalable solutions that can manage large data sets. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. This person should embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with a team to analyze existing software applications and tools, and recommend new technologies and methodologies to improve system performance and usability.
- Design, develops, tests, debugs, and deploys new software tools that extend or replace existing capabilities.
- Advise hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements and works with them to resolve incompatibilities.
- Write and updates technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, training materials, processes and procedures.

Demonstrated hands-on experience integrating and developing code for visualization of data (e.g, using D3.js or vue.js libraries or developing Tableau or Kibana dashboards) - Demonstrated hands-on experience with clustered machines and technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis or Greenplum
- Demonstrated hands-on DevOps experience building and deploying infrastructure with technologies such as Ansible and Puppet
